O-linked Glycosylation

Unlocking the potential of ADCs, T-cell bi-specifics, and immune-based cell therapies.

A long-noted characteristic of malignant transformation has been the aberrant glycosylation of both proteins and lipids. Among the most characteristic and widespread of these carbohydrate epitopes, particularly in epithelial cell cancers, are Tn and STn type O-linked glycans. These aberrant O-linked glycans are generally not found on healthy cells, making them high potential immunologic epitopes for targeted immunotherapy.
